Although we may think of breast cancer when we hear "breast health," most women have non-cancerous breast health concerns as well. For this reason we have planned a day focused on ways of improving all aspects of breast health.

We invited the "Bra Ladies", to spend the day with us educating our patients and offering private     fitting sessions. In addition, we are scheduling Comprehensive Breast Evaluations with Dr. Christine Blakeney. The education that will be provided by both Dr. Blakeney and the Bra Ladies will be a    valuable and unique source of information about breast health for women of all ages.

Who are the Bra Ladies? Lisa Fowler and Millie Heinz are the "Bra Ladies", representing Essential Bodywear. They will share their terrific level of knowledge pertaining to the physical issues created by improperly fitting bras. They will be joining us for "A Day for Breast Health" offering private fitting sessions and sharing their wealth of knowledge about the proper fit for your body.

The right bra can reduce shoulder stress caused by straps, improve posture and eliminate stress in the neck and upper back. 85% of women wear the wrong bra size, are you one of them? Schedule your fitting to find out!

What is a Comprehensive Breast Evaluation? Dr. Christine Blakeney offers the Comprehensive Breast Evaluation as a tool for learning about all facets of breast health. Through this comprehensive method she empowers patients with the information necessary to prevent the development or recurrence of breast cancer and other breast disease.

Your Comprehensive Breast Evaluation offers information and insight into all aspects of breast health. Dr. Blakeney will take a thorough history, perform a physical examination and discuss with you any concerns that you have about your breasts. Your evaluation includes: a review of family and social history, genetics and risk factor review, review of results of past mammograms/ thermograms/ MRI, and self breast exam techniques.

Once your physical examination is complete a comprehensive plan will be designed specific to your needs.
