Program Director
The Center for Optimal Health

I am thrilled to announce a positive change in my life.

I spent the last several years overweight, exhausted, and stressed out. I tried diets counting calories, points, or fat grams, but found it difficult to stay motivated due to meager
results. I was feeling bad and gaining weight. I knew I had to make changes in order to feel better, however as with many mothers, the demands of daily life always took precedent over my personal health.

This past year I had the fortunate opportunity to partner with Dr. David Pawsat to identify the deficiencies that had caused my weight gain and deteriorating health. Together
we have identified my specific physiological needs and have formulated a solution for improving my overall health. I feel terrific, I have more energy, and I am over 70 pounds
healthier. Although I have not yet reached my weight loss goal, I continue on my journey with a customized plan to achieve success.

As the Program Director of The Center for Optimal Health I will be working with individuals to support their efforts in integrating their customized solutions into daily life. I will help our patients learn, through their partnership with Dr. Pawsat, how to enhance the positive changes that will occur.

The more we understand about the changes that we are making, the better chance we have for success. I look forward to continuing on this journey along with you and sharing what I have learned about optimizing health.

When You Are Ready

The Center for Optimal Health recognizes the need for individualized care. There will never be one plan that is right for everyone. Many cookie cutter diets and weight loss programs are available. Each touting uniqueness and success, but few able to demonstrate sustained long term healthy body weights and body compositions for it’s users. A failure to address each individual’s unique biochemical and physiologic needs prior to beginning weight loss, combined with the further deficiencies caused by the weight loss itself, is the primary reason for this predictably high failure rate.

After assessing your health history and individual concerns, a plan will be developed centered around your goals and specific physiologic needs. Weight loss and body composition management can be successful if you start with the proper tools. We will be here to support you when you are ready to start your journey.

Breaking the Cycle

The key to healing and weight loss is nutritional and hormonal balance. With balance, the body starts to function in a physiologic state conducive to healing.

As the body begins to heal:

Food cravings disappear
Better food choices become a way of life
Inflammation released from fat cells declines
Brain fog resolves
Fatigue subsides
Ones outlook brightens
Anti-depressant medications become obsolete
Cholesterol levels normalize
Blood pressure falls
          The cycle is broken!

Is Our Program Right for You?

Our program is a medically supervised, individually tailored weight reduction plan. You will work with Dr. Pawsat to attain physiologic balance and then embark on a weight loss plan that will allow you to reach your body composition goal.

Weight loss will not only improve your self confidence, but has been found to reduce the risk of many disease states.

Some additional issues associated with excess weight:

Depression
High Blood Pressure
PMS
Hormonal Imbalance
Infertility
Loss of Libido
Fatigue
Sleeping Disorders
Weight loss is not just about looking better….it’s also about feeling better!

A house is only as stable as its foundation and the same is true for your physiology. Establishing an optimal framework of physiologic balance is the key to a sustained weight loss and a lifetime of healthy living. This year resolve to heal rather than to deprive.
