Comprehensive New Patient Visit -  $425.00

At The Center for Optimal Health, Dr. Pawsat treats his patients for their individual needs. Each patient is assessed through a Comprehensive New Patient Visit; however, every patient will not follow the same course of treatment. During this visit you will sit with Dr. Pawsat for approximately 90 minutes. He will go over your full health history and will address your questions and concerns. A plan will then be developed with suggestions specific to your needs.

Accessibility is a unique and important aspect of Dr. Pawsat’s practice. He focuses his practice on developing strong patient/physician partnerships. The environment is comfortable and non-judgmental. When patients feel welcome to interact with their healthcare provider, critical information is shared. Our patients are encouraged by the fact that we will listen to their thoughts and concerns. When a partnership is formed, opportunities open for positive change.

Follow Up Visits -  $85.00 to $195.00

Each patient is treated for their individual needs therefore; we do not have a set schedule for return visits. Your second appointment is scheduled for the purpose of reviewing any test results and to begin your protocol. Additional appointments will be scheduled based on your individual need as determined by you and Dr. Pawsat. Follow up appointments are billed based on the length of your interaction with Dr. Pawsat. If for any reason you might not be able to make an office visit, telephone consultation for follow up can be arranged.

Testing

It is Dr. Pawsat’s belief that each individual patient’s needs are unique and that no one set of test or studies will be right for all patients. He will order tests and studies based on the evaluation and impression agreed upon by Dr. Pawsat and the patient.  Blood, saliva and urine test are common methods used for testing, and studies such as X-ray, Ultrasound, EKG, CT scans and MRI can be ordered when necessary.

Supplements

Nutritional supplements are available through The Center for Optimal Health. He has extensively researched companies that provide nutritional products with adequate dosing and effective delivery systems. Any supplement recommendations that you receive can be filled using store brought products as well. You are welcome to continue taking your preferred brand of supplements; you will be able to discuss with Dr. Pawsat the products that you are taking so that he can help you make decisions about appropriate dosages.

Insurance

The Center for Optimal Health does not participate with any insurance plans and does not do insurance billing. In order to spend the necessary time with each patient we are a non-participating practice. After each visit you will receive an invoice that provides all of the necessary information for submitting a claim with your insurance company. Any reimbursement will be based on the allowance of your policy for non-participating or out-of-network physician care. We find that many of our patients do receive reimbursement. You will need to consult your insurance policy provider or your insurance policy handbook to determine what coverage your policy allows.

Although we do not bill the insurance companies, our office staff is very willing to assist you in answering submission questions and providing any additional information requests from your insurance provider.

Cancellation Policy

If it is necessary for you to reschedule or cancel an appointment, please contact us 24 hours in advance of your scheduled time. If your cancellation is less than 24 hours, or you do not show for your appointment, a $55.00 fee will apply. This policy is in consideration of patients on our waiting list who desire an earlier appointment.
